My Eco Art Teaching Studio is a community space, located in Weaverville, North Carolina, offering a variety of in person art classes and gatherings! Newly expanded online art classes build in my online teaching experience for private Art Coaching sessions, group classes, and group art feedback discussions.

Eco art is a contemporary branch of environmental art that often includes advocacy, problem solving, and activism.

Eco art for me, informs people about the natural world we live in, what problems exist, and most importantly, what we can do about them. To me, it refers to a kind of art that helps improve our relationship with the natural world.

Eco artists in general, are good at working with many different kinds of people, making connections and often facilitating positive growth. I like to think of eco art as a problem solving process that can include education and/or restoration, and always celebrates the beauty of nature.

I believe in the power of art and nature to transform and connect lives.

I am passionate about offering guided eco art experiences that empower, inspire, and support students of all ages and levels. No experience required! The Eco Art Teaching Studio is a warm, friendly, and peaceful space, where we explore nature inspired art making.

The community we create together encourages the feeling of connection, acceptance, hope, and creativity, enabling authentic expressive artworks that highlight who we are, where we live, and what we share.

I look forward to being a guide for an art experience that will inspire and support your creative spirit! Using the natural world as a base for our inspiration, I’ll lead you through all kinds of art making, from painting and drawing to mixed media, collage, furniture painting to creating with natural materials.
