The People’s Forest: A Centennial Celebration of the White Mountain National Forest
This exhibition was an important collaboration between Plymouth State University’s Museum of the White Mountains and the White Mountain National Forest. The goals were to mark the centennial of the creation of the Forest, describe the timeline of the Forest’s evolution since the beginning, and point to the ways that today’s community members and visitors can enjoy and support this important resource. Working with many partners, and co-curator, David Govatski, I created a design that brings visitors on a trail through history, while stopping to enjoy both environmental information and artistic expression about the WMNF. The online version of the exhibition can be seen here.
