Transcendence of Trees: Memorials and Maquettes by Emile Birch

This 2015 exhibition featured the work on New Hampshire sculptor and teaching artist, Emile Birch. We worked together on shaping this project for a year, discussing works to include and experiences to align with the exhibition. Emile created an extra large work for the center of the Gallery as well as a series of wall hung kinetic works. I included an interactive space in the exhibit’s design, providing opportunities for students and visitors to explore the balance and colors of Emile’s work.
